I have been vacationing with my family for the past three weeks and my mom wrote this poem in a card for me before I left. . . this was really important to me because we have a really small family: it is just my parents, me and my older brother.
Goodbye My Dearest Friend

The hardest part of any friendship is when it is time to say goodbye,
and even though I wished I could make you stay,
I know I got to let you spread your wings and fly.
For life is a journey that needs to be travelledand I am certain you'd make it through,
I just want you to know and never forget that I will surely miss you.
So follow your heart and never give up,as dreams and wishes do come true,
for I know that soon we'll meet again,so never forget I will be praying for you.
I hope that you and your family had a nice vacation. Where did you manage to go for your vacation? Hopefully somewhere nice, relaxing, and warm.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad for you that you were able to spend so much nice quality time with your small family. I am on vacation right now with my family also. Unfortunately, we are only able to be on vacation for a week, but it's still nice to be able to take this time away together.

ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed your vacation.I work until the end of July, then I usaully go on Vactaion. I do however go away with my wife for a long weekend at the end of June to Las Vegas to celebrate our aniversary. The poem was beautiful.
